What we believe
God - We believe in the triune God of the Bible and that He is our Creator.
Jesus Christ - We believe He is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin and without sin. He paid the price for man's sin when He died on the cross and rose again 3 days later. He is the only Door through which we can enter Heaven.
Holy Spirit - We believe He convicts the world of sin, indwells and comforts believers and seals us unto the day of redemption.
The Bible - We believe the Bible, the verbally inspired Word of God, is perfect and entire and the basis for everything we believe. God has preserved His Word for English-speaking people in the King James Version. For this reason, it is the only version our church uses.
Salvation - We believe that salvation is a free gift offered to all by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made on Calvary.
Eternal Security - We believe that anyone who is saved is kept by God's power and is secure in Christ forever, having been sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Baptism - We believe every believer should follow Christ in baptism by immersion. It is not essential to one's salvation, but is an outward way to profess our faith in Jesus after we are saved.
The Lord’s Supper - We believe the bread is a picture of the body of Christ and the fruit of the vine (unfermented grape juice) is a picture of His blood. This ordinance is open to all believers but we encourage all who partake to first confess and forsake their sin.
Eternity - We believe in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell. All those who trust Christ, will spend eternity in Heaven while those who reject Him will go to Hell.
End Times - We believe we are in the midnight hour. We believe in a pre-trib, pre-millenial rapture of all believers. After this, we believe the events written in the book of Revelation will literally take place and those who did not trust Christ will experience it first-hand.
Human Sexuality - We believe that God instituted marriage in the Garden of Eden and gave us His pattern in Adam and Eve. Marriage is between one man and one woman until death. We believe that fornication, adultery, homosexuality and anything else outside of marriage is sin.
The Great Commission - We believe it is the responsibility of all believers to spread the gospel to the whole world. This can be done through one-on-one witnessing, financially supporting missionaries and being involved in different ministries of the church.
